Meet Our Team

Before you come in and see us, we'd like you to get to know a little bit about each of our staff members. Each person on our team loves what they do and every person plays a special role in the success of our company. Remember - we're here for you! Whether you visit us as a consignor or a buyer, we want you to feel at home at Riverbridge Resale and Consignment.

In 2004, Kay and Danny George opened their doors.  With their passion for serving others as a driving force, and Kay's interest in home decorating as well as a desire to provide a refreshing alternative to conventional resale methods - Riverbridge Resale and Consignment was born!

Like you, Kay likes to redecorate her home to keep things fresh and exciting. Often times, our surroundings get stale and boring, not because of a lack of desire for change, but rather the difficulty of finding affordable home furnishings and selling our existing items.

Kay and Danny saw that many of the Houston area home associations did not allow garage sales in their neighborhoods and was keenly aware that classified advertising tends to be frustrating and time consuming. They saw a great need for a resale and consignment shop and put their passions to work for their community.  Even though Danny has a full time job elsewhere, Riverbridge benefits from his many skills.

Cindy Merryman- Store Manager

Cindy is a long time resident of Conroe.  She is married with 2 children, 3 dogs, and 3 cats.  Cindy loves to spend time with her family and she is always ready for a trip to the beach. 

We are delighted to have Cindy's enthusiasm here at Riverbridge.  She knows so many people in this area, and her bubbly personality is contagious.  Try to get a glimpse of her when you visit our store.  She is always on the move helping out where needed.

Cindy visited our store on many occasions and jumped at the chance to join our sales staff in the summer of 2007.  She says that she LOVES everything about her job, especially the wonderful people with which she works around.

Deidra Pisha- Sales Associate

Deidra is a delight to work with and also lends a humorous side to our day.  She joins the rank of all of the animal lovers and actually transports all of the donations we receive to the animal shelter.  She loves yard work and grilling.  There isn't anything that Deidra doesn't tackle and succeed at.  She  is a retired flight attendant and nurse and speaks Spanish fluently.

Erik Linch - Logistics

You may have met Erik upon having something picked up or delivered to your home.  He also helps to move furniture around the store and entertain customers with his sense of humor. Erik is a husband and also a father of three children. He is a big sports fan. He loves to play soccer and watch the Texans football games.  

Neysa Thorell- Sales Associate

Neysa always comes in with the most cheerful attitude in the morning! She is always on the move redecorating and arranging merchandise. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and four boys. Neysa also enjoys being creative and painting furniture. She sells two of her paint lines here at Riverbridge! 

Marge Schroeder- Website 

We are glad to have a person like Marge on our team. She is a very sweet lady. You may catch a glimpse of her as she takes pictures updating the website.

Carol Goodman- Pricing

We are so thankful to have a pricing lady like Carol! She works throughout the week pricing the smaller items and accessories in the store. She has a very kind personality that makes her such a pleasure to work with. Carol is a long time resident of Texas. She is married with 1 daughter, 2 grandkids, and 1 dog. When not busy in the pricing room Carol and her husband run their own mobile notary public service.

Janet Schweitzer- Sales Associate

Although Janet is one of our newest employees she is not new to our store by any means. She was a frequent customer that jumped at the chance to join our team.  Janet has a sparkling personality and great sense of humor that makes her a joy to work with. In her free time Janet persues her passsion of rescuing and fostering animals.

Che' Inman- Sales Associate

Che' is one of our newest emplyees. We are excited that she has joined our team! She is a long time resident of Montgomery. She is married and has 2 sons and 2 daughters. Che' enjoys spending time at the beach or island hopping with her family.
